Brannstrom isn't giving up. He's shown he can have great games, but I've never seen him have a game like that. Don't think I saw him make a single mistake. Most fans have written him off, bit He's still going. Best case scenario for Ottawa is still him figuring it out. I'd be happy with any combination of Brannstrom, Holden and Bernard-Docker on the 3rd pairing this year. Maybe Brannstrom vs teams you need to punish offensively and Holden vs teams you need to shut down.
Brassard is getting signed. Sens don't have a better extra forward who can actually play up in the lineup if an injury happens. Plugging Brassard into the 2nd or 3rd line after an injury is much better than pushing Kastelic into the top 9 and putting Gambrell at 4C.
Cat and Roux already developing chemistry. Stützle needs to be with those two in every remaining pre-season game. Those 3 will dominate the league this year.
