Description
These are players that are maybe very good defensively/serviceable offensively that don't get attention, guys stuck behind mega stars, and guys who play in markets that don't get as much attention. Not necessarily guys who are scoring loads of points, but just really solid players that don't get talked about.

No one knew of Kampf before Dubas signed him last year. We were all like WTF? And then he turned out to be exactly what we needed. Great signing. HOWEVER he gets talked about ALOT. At least he did last year. For the Leafs I would actually put TJ Brodie in this slot. He never gets talked about and he has been unreal defensively for them. As soon as the Leafs got Brodie their team got way better. He gets zero press attention at all.

I wouldn't say TJ Brodie is under the radar at all, he's been good for some time now and was for sure a well known player before coming to the Leafs.
Don't know how much media attention he gets though, so if that's the criterion then maybe he should be on the list.

Good list imo, I don't know about Dobson though. Wasn't he all the rage this off season with his contract upcoming and all the acgms wanting to acquire him?

Thanks, don't know how underrated Jeannot is after last year's breakout though. Until a few days ago i would have picked Trenin, but Leafs fans just heard about him. We're getting multiple Trenin for Kerfoot proposals every day now frown Maybe Sissons?

Maybe. But in my mind doing this, I thought of him as overshadowed behind the Puloch/Pelech duo.

Maybe yeah. Again, to me its about who they're playing behind. When people think Nashville they think Josi, Forsberg, Saros, Ekholm, Duchene. But I understand your point.
