Keefe wasn't talking about Marner playing defense as a regular thing. The context of the quote was a late game, down a few goals, offensive zone draw type of situation.

You are wrong in that assessment.

Even with Rielly's defensive shortcomings, he is a much better defender than Marner ever could be and the same holds true in reverse.
