This team looks worse tbh. I’d sign kampf, sign Brodie for less years. Mete is an extra defence men but not really a bottom pair d man imo.

Sorry but teams win cups with solid D and Goaltending, Which neither the Leafs have here. Offence alone doesn't win cups. Solid D and Goaltending wins cup and the Leafs have neither.

Yeah, it could very much be but who knows how good Samsonov will be in the coming years or if Toronto can even retain him beyond this one.
