Description

Based on preseason Holloway, Neimeläinen and Broberg earned their spots with the big club.

It’s a toss up between Benson, Shore and Janmark. Shore is the most skilled of the three, but Benson seems to have more appetite to play with an edge and Oilers don’t have any of that in bottom 6.

Janmark seems like a bit of a pointless signing, didn’t see anything too interesting in preseason. Pushing him to the minors also allows the Oilers to have all three of Benson, Broberg and Neimo in the squad.

Top 9 is pure 🔥, probably the best 2nd line in the league, a super fast 3rd line, and mcjebus line needs no explanation.

So excited to see this team play especially that third line. I think Woody may play a lot of 11 and 7 with broberg and Nemo both getting time with Barrie on the third pairing. Honestly makes sense when you look at how many center options we have McDavid, Drai, Nuge, Mcleod. It seems like a great way to get the bottom six guys more playing time while sparing the younger D men. Dont know why it isnt more common

I think if they both go through waivers it’s likely they’re claimed, and there isn’t enough cap room to healthy scratch them.
