NSH declines. They don't have the cap space for Garland, and with the young wingers they've got coming up using a 1st on a winger with term like his doesn't make sense.

There is no reason for Vancouver to want Scheifele

I’d offer a third and a fourth for Garland, same as Bjorkstrand lol

Nash isn’t paying a 1st for Garland, especially with having Kemell, Evangelista, L’Hereaux, Afinisyev and Tomasino on the rise

There's nothing there that Winnipeg considers moving Scheifele for.

Clearly you don't understand who Border and Rathbone are. Scheifele value took a big hit last year. Winnipeg is not trading him, but if they were, this would be a good deal

Everyone knows who they are. Rathbone is an unneeded LD prospect and Boeser is an expensive, constantly injured, poor skating, offense only winger. Neither hold a lot of value when asking for a consistent PPG 1C.

“Offence only”

Boeser plays a matchup role half the time and is one of the best board battlers in the league

With all due respect,

Scheifele ev defense for the past few years has been 2% meaning he has poor defensive impact. Scheifele has only played a full season twice and plays around 65 games every year. Boeser is determined and ready to score 30 goals and is a great player. He is NOT ONE DIMENSIONAL as Warpbox said. Rathbone has top 4 potential. He is easily one of the best dmen in AHL and has been quite good in preseason. 2024 1st also holds quite a bit of value. You can keep Dillon. Scheifele also isn't too interested in playing for Jets. The contending period is over. You had your times in 2017ish. Got to retool. Since your prospect pool is quite good, a rebuild is unnecessary.

You already have Pettersson and Horvat as your 1C and 2C respectively, It makes absolutely no sense to trade for Mark Scheifele. And i seriously doubt he'd even waive for Vancouver.

Jim Ruthford and Patrik Allvin already dislikes our Locke room culture. Scheifele is the worst player we could be adding

But Scheifele plays for WPG...that boosts his value exponentially...prob gotta make it 3 firsts and all your prospects plus some roster players, might as well throw a couple coaches and trainers in there too.

They extended Miller. Unless they move Horvat it looks like that statement will have meant nothing.

Rutherford won Cups with Malkin and Kessel, it's definitely a red flag but if he thinks it could work it would overload our offense.
