Habs aren't gonna give up good prospects to get rid of salary. Especially since a bunch is coming off after this year and management has no expectations of winning

There's nothing really there for Winnipeg, could use Drouin but not trading those two young dmen for him and they don't need Norlinder, don't know anything about Kapanen.

Jets fans would trade Stanley if you wanted him, though it seems Jets management still likes him.

I wouldn't say in any deal but yeah he's definitely a non starter for something like this.

If you want a RHD, Kovacevic will end up on waivers if they keep both Samberg and Heinola on the NHL team.

That's what I meant...in this deal here, but I do think he's pretty close to untouchable for the jets. Based on his age, contract and potential. But yeah...if a deal comes around that make the jets better short and long term then he could be moved

Do wonder which one or two of Kovacevic, Stanley, Heinola and Samberg will get demoted.

If we were just basing the #6/7 dman spot on the preseason games the argument could be made Capobianco should make the team, he looked pretty good out there.

Do you know how many dmen the Moose have on an AHL contract?

Where is Salmonsson playing this year?

Unless there is a trade to move a LHD, I think Chevy sends one of Heinola or Samberg will be sent to the Moose to start the season to minimize waivers exposure of others and then one of Kovacevic/Capobianco. That said, the kids both deserve to be on the NHL roster based on play.

The Moose have 12 defensemen on their training camp roster, with 3 of them on PTOs.

I don't see Salmonsson on the Moose training camp roster (Moose Roster). Scott Billeck wrote that Salomonsson signed a contract to play in Sweden for the coming season (he didn't go to the young stars camp either). I guess his ELC had a European Assignment clause.

I imagine you think you're getting the Silfverberg of old from Anaheim, I regret to inform you he's not longer a top 6 player. Middle 6 on a good day at this point.

That said, Anaheim will decline, we don't want the Hoff anywhere near our young locker room.

He's won every where he's played. He's physical and has a high hockey IQ. Plus you draft and develop a guy you wanna see get a legit shot
Also, i meant more for this trade and not all trades
