Don’t see you getting Robertson without Quinn or JJ

Possible, my theory is the Star will sell low if they feel he won't sign at all and only a handful of teams can afford him

Why would the Stars sell low? Robertson has been one of the best wingers in the league the last two seasons. I highly doubt the Stars trade him but if for whatever reason they decide to, I can guarantee you they won't accept anything less than a package similar to what Tkachuk got. Not saying Robo is Tkachuk, but two bona fide top 2 line players and a first should be the minimum to get them to consider a trade.

Middelstadt is a third liner at best, Rosen's stock has fallen a little since he was drafted, Ostlund is a fine piece but he shouldn't be the best prospect in the deal. Stars need a player(s) who is established in return for Robo, not prospects who probably won't turn out to be as good as him

You have to take into consideration what his Cap hit us going to be and most teams aren't going to pay that for a winger

I think Buffalo should avoid moving JJ or Quinn in a deal if possible. Oloffson, Middlestadt, Rosen, Johnson and a first would be the core pieces in my offer to Dallas tbh.

Mitts still has upside
He’s just gotta stay healthy

Stars aren't going to take less on a return just because they have cap issues. They'll be able to move contracts out in order to afford Robo if it's necessary. And if for whatever reason they trade him, they'll do the same to make sure the return will fit within the cap.

Idk that the proposed package is “selling low”
That’s pretty good value, even if u don’t like Mitts
