Description

I would guesstimate probably a 75% chance that Lambert only plays 9 games with the Jets before going down to the AHL for the rest of the year. If that happens, I'd project the forward lines to adjust to:

Connor - Scheifele - Ehlers
Perfetti - Dubois - Wheeler
Barron - Lowry - Appleton
Maenalanen - Gustafsson - Gagner

Maenalanen IMO is ahead of Harkins in the org. depth chart, but Maen doesn't need waivers whereas Harkins does, hence his omission from the day one roster. I don't think the org. perceives the difference between the two to be great enough to warrant waiving Harkins.

Capobianco, Toninato get waived. I think both clear.

I wouldn't mind the Jets choosing Mäenalanen over Harkins and taking their chances with waivers. Harkins' ceiling seems like the 4th line so if he is picked up, there would be guys on the Moose who could fill that role (Reichel, Stenlund, Eyssimont) in the event of an injury on the Jets.
