Lucic’s contract > Anderson, by a mile

Nope. Flames value Lucic coming off the books next year FAR more than Anderson, let alone paying a 1st

Another Habs fan in denial about just how bad Anderson's contract is.

Love the player. Love his game, but nit at $5.5 million over the long haul.

That contract doesn't look palpable for another 3 years when the cap (by projections) takes big jump #2.

I think a bunch of Flames Fans would approve of doing this Trade, but the only way it works is if Kylington & Toffoli are moved by next off-season and the Flames may also have to go with a 22-Man Roster

This assumes the Cap increases to $83.5mil, Weegar extends at $6.5mil, Coronato or Schwindt are ready to replace Toffoli and we still have Mackey or another D-Man to replace Kylington

I personally think Josh Anderson is over paid and overrated and there’s better value in acquiring Jesse Puljujarvi, Luke Kunin or Nathan Bastian, but it would be doable and the acquisition price isn’t crazy. Would Lucic agree to go to MTL would be my main question.
