Hague is a really solid NHL ready D. If they want to compete this year then this is a great deal.

He’s a solid d-man. I like the deal but the Sens have stated that they won’t trade good prospects. Thompson, Grieg etc.

He’s also a LD. They don’t need LD. They need RD. Zub is solid but Hamonic Zaitsev and Brannstrom are not that good.

Not sure this does it for VGK. We’re already loaded at the blue line. Hague has proven it consistently. Adding a later 2nd two years from now and a guy that won’t see the ice this year in vegas doesn’t really move the needle imo.

LT is on an ELC for 2 more years. OS yields picks and this gives them something more tangible. Vegas has cap issues and this helps alleviate that.

They definitely need RD. It’s really the only thing missing. No RD are available now. I can see them maybe trade for a guy like Barrie next offseason.

That’s harder to find. I liked Adam Larsson to Ottawa. Figured he would have been solid.

It is simple. Hague wants more money and Vegas responds with:

Tough luck we have a full roster and Korczac is looking ready.

Just waiting on Hague to cave.

I like Korczak. Maybe Hague will take a bridge deal.
