Description

If Dallas can't get him signed. New York clearly has a spot for him.

Beauvillier can step right in and play for Dallas and would get a nice opportunity. Dallas get a high level scoring prospect in Dufour and 2 1st round picks.

It's a steep price. But does New York pay it? Does Dallas do this?

New York looks good after this trade.

Not a bad trade but if thats all it takes to sign Robertson then Dallas would've done that a while ago

First off it probably starts with Wahlstrom++ to get Jason Robertson.

Secondly he'd sign that in no tax Texas not high taxed New York where he'd want 8x$9.5 mil you're not even close in what it would cost to acquire Jason Robertson nor AAV.

I am a huge fan of Nick Robertson. But he hasn't proven to be worth 2 x 1st rounders yet.. I can see a team paying 1 if they really believed in him. But not 2.

Maybe things change after this year. His shot has looked unreal this preseason.

Dufour is a serious prospect as well. He just posted over 55 goals in 66 games in the WHL and had 110+ points. Some incredible numbers there.

We will see what Robertson signs for.

I mean i doubt robertson signs this but considering the stars owner came out and basically said he doesnt want to pay players coming off an elc idk how much is on robertson and how much is on stars ownership
