Buffalo has 2 right handed Dmen. They aren't trading one of them who they just signed this off-season for pieces they don't need.

Lol no chance Sabres do this.
No one would take Hoff, but it also makes no sense for the Habs to trade him at RS when they can just put him down to Laval for same cap hit

Do the Canadiens really want that cancer with the youth in Laval?

Let me see if I'm following what you think Buffalo should do :
A team that has problems attracting UFA's and only has 2 RHS defenseman trades a RHS Defenseman they just signed for a guy whose been a cancer every locker room he's been in. This is a great way to ensure NO UFA EVER SIGNS THERE!!

Sabres have never had trouble attracting UFA’s. They easily could have done what Anaheim and Detroit did overpaying for 30 year old 3rd liners, but that plan never works for rebuilding teams.

Huh, that's a really good point actually. Jesus I can't believe MB signed this guy for so long.

The high end guys don't come here, their agents will use us for leverage. The middle tier guys and worse are not above coming here. Hopefully adams is fixing the teams reputation, we have been a poorly run team from the top down for a decade. Being able to sell "up and coming team" with a straight face will help. Plus people that have never been here take hackneyed potshots at the city, the players that come here aren't living on Bailey and doat, they are living in a condo on the waterfront- 30 seconds from the arena, or a suburb like east aurora, 25 minutes away, where they film hallmark movies because it looks like a currier and Ives painting.

Who was the last major UFA that signed there , and why in a player survey did 37% of respondents say Buffalo was the least desired place to play?

Lybushkin sounds like a great fit, a physical defensive right d is like the perfect fit to compliment a guy like power, so he can not have to worry about doing everything. We aren't in a position to move right d, but lybushkin is somebody I really wanna keep.
