Don’t think the jackets can afford an extension for larkin. Voracek would have to be included which probably would put an end to the deal

I think they'd want to keep jiricek and move out one of sillinger or johnson since larkin will be taking one of their spots

I think it would have to be Sillinger as I don't know if Johnson will be a nhl centre. Either way I don't think either team should do this trade.

No it’s based on the latest gotcha article. It was 32 bold predictions, and for the Wings the bold prediction was Larkin will be traded.

Can't see the CBJ wanting to give up so much for a rental. And please no crazy extension talk

I think both are off limits in any trade discussion. They are both looking great so far and are young, cheap, and cost controlled. If they reach their ceilings the jackets can be cup contenders for the first time in franchise history

He’s always wanted to play for his hometown team the jackets with his best friend Werenski

No? Frank Seravalli in his 32 bold predictions, Said that Detroit will trade Larkin. He has no insider information. If Yzerman had any intention of trading Larkin it would have happened at the draft before his full NTC kicked in.

LOL Nyquist is garbage we don't want him back, No thanks on Jiricek. Larkin starts with one of Johnson/Sillinger and a 1st and 2nd round pick. Nothing less.

laugh laugh First off he'll never make it to free agency, And secondly you don't have the $10,000,000 per long term that he's seeking on the open market.

We'd be counting on that Close To Hometown discount, admittedly. wink

Yeah not happening, If he's not taking no hometown discount in Detroit, Then he's absolutely not taking one in Columbus. If a hometown discount is between $9,500,000 to $10,000,000 per then it's quite possible.

Kent is a top 5 prospect in the whole NHL. Jarmo wouldn’t trade him 1 for 1 for larkin right now as a rental let alone with adds. There’s very few players that could get kj in a trade and larkin isn’t one of them. He would have to come with a team friendly extension (less than 8 million). Doesn’t make sense for either team. Jackets would only want him as a free agent. I would assume he just extends with the wings so all of this is moot
