They were already good before you made those trades

If Boston "blows it up" then wouldn't a 25yr old Top 4 Shutdown RHD be the kind of guy they'd want to keep?

Canuckles missed the playoffs; that’s pretty much the definition of not good.
These trades aren’t realistic; isles aren’t shipping out Dobson - #1 dman for next decade and to get Carlo will cost more than that

Putting aside the part where Tyler Myers is a massive negative value player because of his terrible contract, Ottawa couldn't afford to do this If they wanted to. Doing this would mean saying goodbye to Artem Zub, who is miles ahead of Myers, and would leave Ottawa vulnerable to a Pinto offersheet.

It’s essentially Lekkerimaki, Rathbone, and a 2024 1st plus a bunch of flotsam and jetsam for a 22 year old RD1. So no

When will Nucks fans give up this fantasy of B’s trading them Carlo? Not going to happen.

1. Linus Karlsson was breaking Elias Petterssons SHL rookie records (I’ll be it being older) and won SHL rookie of the year.
2. Jack Rathbone put up (statistically) the best season by far out of any U24 D man in the AHL and was over PPG
3. Lekkerimaki was just a 15th overall pick last year.
4. You also get a first.

Calling that package scraps is ridiculous

Linus Karlsson is also very good. I’d argue he’s a key piece

it just doesn’t get you one of the best young RD in the game on a bargain contract

Sens don't have the cap or desire for 6m Myers. I doubt any team does. Now one year of Zaitsev for one year of Myers might be a deal.

Awful logic and not surprisingly awful trades.

Only way OTT does this is by sending Zaitsev the other way
