1) I put no thought into the lines. It was meant solely for the announced trade.

2) Kostin requires waivers, which is why St. Louis traded him instead of sending him down. They would of lost him for nothing if they had.

Which is why he won't be sent down. Oilers will lose him for nothing if they do. Not the brightest idea after trading Samurokov for the guy.
