I guess he was somewhat productive in his early years with the team, fell off away from them. Why not give it another shot
If it wasn't for Vesey waiting to be a college UFA, most fans wouldn't even recognize his name. But happy for Vesey that he has pro contract and still living the life as pro, even it means being in the AHL.
He'll start off the season rather well and then fade away, just like he did last season with the Devils. He's lost a step offensively and he's pretty terrible defensively. I'd wish him all the best, had he signed anywhere else besides the Rangers.
