Pretty well done, IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if Colorado took a step back though, as they've lost some significant pieces.

Chicago is way too low. They have a much better team than Arizona. I have a feeling they will be last years Sabres team, everyone projected they would have an historically bad season, but in reality they will be a mid 70 point team.

Looks good but I think Ottawa has a legitimate shot at being a wild card team

Thanks for having the Canucks in a playoff spot but IMO there is no way Edmonton finishes that high

Not sure what you’re talking about. Yes, they could be better than the Coyotes but they are know where close to a 70 point team. They will be in the mid 50’s. Which good players do they have. Kane, Toews, Jones that’s it. Toews and Jones have taken steps back. Kane and Toews will most likely be dealt. That would leave them with Jones and a bunch of AHL players.

Have you seen Arizonas roster? They have nothing. Chicago has Kane and Towes until the trade deadline. Seth Jones, Jake McCabe, Connor Murphy, along with Reichel who will have a good rookie season. No team will ever be a mid 50 point team it’s just unrealistic.

McCabe and Murphy have gotten surgery.

Toews has been declining. The Coyotes have Keller, Schmaltz, Hayton, Crouse, Boyd, Chychrun, Ghost. Chicago has Kane, Toews, Jones, Kurashev, Reichel. Kane and Toews will be gone possibly before the deadline. The Coyotes and Hawks will be in the 50 point range. It’s not unrealistic. The Habs had 50 something points this past season.

It is perhaps a tad optimistic, but it's certainly not unreasonable. From Feb. 11 to the end of the season (when the coaching change happened in Edmonton) they posted a .724 winning percentage, good for 2nd best in the league in that span behind only Florida Panthers. It covered 38 games, so nearly half a season. Mike Smith started 19 of those games and Mikko Koskinen started 18.

They've returned with largely the same team this year, but with 2 new goalies. Kulak replaces Keith and Dylan Holloway has forced his way onto the roster, but otherwise there aren't a lot of new faces. So 2nd in the league is entirely reasonable, even if I would put them a little lower.
