I somehow break this site with either my memes, pictures, or my 5x multiply posts

But either way this 4th line we got is just something we got to be careful with. To me yes the potential of Engvall-Kampf-Jarnkrok is there but at the same time if Holmberg or Kerfoot dont mesh with ZAR and Malgin your stuck finding a 4c which yes is easier but still I feel going and getting a peoper 2-way 3C to play with Robertson and Engvall or Kerfoot is the next step.

To bad cap doesnt work Dvorak and Savard would be interesting. Dvorak-Marner PK duo

What are you talking about? There are 12 forwards in the lineup and more that could come in at a moments notice, but this is the only other combo that might work?? And it's risky how? Bottom six gets a slight shuffle with two guys on each line having played with each other successfully before now and Robertson draws back in. What's the potential for calamity here?

I saw it one time and it worked I believe it was at the end of the Van game and it worked. Yet Keefe be like yeah I want to make a whole new third line

To me that line is literally what we saw last year only diff is Jarnkrok instead of Kase or Mikheyev


Like for one game try that and put Holmberg with ZAR and Malgin. If it works and the 4th line struggles k we go find a 4c. If both lines work hurray we got something. If neither works go back to the old lines and trade for a 3c.

Must have been twice they used it as I dont remember Van scoring the final 2mins. Will need to see which games it was used. But either way there is potential as we know Engvall-Kampf works and Jarnkrok should mesh well. But hey if not find someone like Kampf and maybe Engvall will mesh well with them

Ironically enough 4 interesting players have basically become either outcast by their teams (i.e. HS or their GM be like I explore a move)

Hes not wrong. While Robertson has the makings of a good NHLer but just scoring isnt enough.

Keefe has made a team who he wants committed at both ends and as we see the 5 on 5 GA/xGA is very good. If Robertson works on getting better away from the puck and the PK then Engvall will be sitting. I will say if he does not play vs NYI then put him with the Marlies and call up Gaudette

That Matthews penalty made no sense

Refs literally be gifting Buffalo PP's as thats just 2 guys colliding lul

And of course they score as thats how logic works

Bottom 6 is starting to look better. Everyone we be critical of be buzzing

Kerfoot looks good (wish he buried that breakaway on PK but still good)

Jarnkrok and Engvall look hungry and Holmberg just seems to mesh right in

Rotating Robertson and Engvall though might not be a bad thing as hes not to key to have every night

As for the D

I like Rielly-Benn (working alright)
Gio-Liligren (Nice)
Sandin-Holl (meh)

Still early

Remember at the beginning of the year people were concerned Murray/Samsonov was gonna be worse than Campbell/Mrazek

So far Murray 2-1-1 with a 2.77 GAA and a 0.914 SV

Samsonov 6-2 with a 2.23 GAA and a 0.920 SV

A team they were supposed to beat and did. Gotta watch taking so many penalties but man how go they not draw more PP.

Timmins has dealt with injuries nearly since the moment he was selected 32nd overall by the Colorado Avalanche in 2017. After playing just 36 regular season games in his post-draft season because of an injured ankle, he missed the entire 2018-19 campaign due to concussion issues. After getting dealt to Arizona as part of the Darcy Kuemper trade, he blew out his knee six games into 2021-22 and was absent the rest of the season. Now he has already missed nine games for the Coyotes this year and managed only six shifts in one of the two games he did suit up in.

Unless it is Future Considerations going to other way, no thanks.

A little off topic but what if we replicated the Nils Lunqvist trade with Krappo?

I need to look into it more but that might be a decent bet worth making if he becomes available

My problem with the Foligno trade wasn't that Dubas made it, just that he didn't dig deep enough to find out if the guy was healthy. A healthy Nick Foligno would have been a great fit but from the various stories I hear of that TDL, Foligno was not healthy.

I think he was healthy but the quarantine made it to where an injury was more likely to happen. We saw the same thing with PLD when he got traded to WPG. Looked fine played a game hurt. Basically the quarantine ****ed most Canadian teams making trades

As 2 weeks of not playing then being placed top line and with that style of game an injury was 100% coming at some point.

I think the cost would be way too high.

Personally, I think EDM is totally underutilizing Puljujärvi. If there was a trade to be made there, I’d love to get him.
