Konecky and PJ had similar offensive stats last season (based on 82 games). Hardly a premium (the three picks) or the 2.5m cap difference that would entice Oilers to make the trade.
Same Pronovov...Wings keep their picks and have over 6m to spend on a UFA next season.
JVR might get a good return at TDL.

Edmonton declines. The whole plan makes no sense: Puljujarvi > Konecny, and moving a $3M cap hit doesn't make room for a $5.5M cap hit. Why would they trade a 1st + 2nd + 3rd in order to downgrade to a more expensive player?

Detroit Declines. Not giving up 2023 1st unless a star player is coming back as the 2023 1st will likely turn into a star player. Provorov is a good defensemen but not a star player. If anything Detroit will look to acquire an additional 1st round pick in the 2023 draft.

I like provorov but I'd try to keep that 1st rounder and maybe sub in one of the ld prospects Detroit is overloaded with.
