Pulock has a full NTC, and NY wouldn’t ask him to waive.

Team is old, they'll realize this when they miss the playoffs again and are forced into a retool/rebuild. Knies will be NHL ready and have that 2-way game the Isles are in love with. Probably a new GM, Lou will be gone

The player will have a NTC. And everything you’ve said about the isles is speculative rn.

The Kings are struggling to find a spot in the lineup for quality forwards like Kupari, ****emo, and Vilardi, let alone their 4th liners like JAD and Lemieux. They're not interested in giving up draft picks for a fringe NHL forward.

The Islanders average age is 28.23. The Toronto Maple Leafs average ....... 28.23. tHe iSlAnDeRs ArE oLd. The Islanders were super old because they had Chara and Greene on their roster. Hopefully, you guys can figure it out soon or Matthews will pull a Tavares. Get sick of not winning and scurry off to another city.

Resigning Lemieux was a mistake

If the islanders are forced into a retool, why would they trade away an elite shutdown defenseman on a great deal instead of retooling around him? Seems like the type of player you keep around, especially for a package like that.

this is honestly a huge personal hot take, but having dobson already would make pulock somewhat expendable in a retool. he’s a guy you can get legitimately great assets for and pelech-dobson would still be a great top pair. not saying they should definitely do it but they don’t have very many high-value pieces that i’d want them to part with, so if they got a really good (and i mean really good) offer for pulock i wouldn’t be mad if they traded him. all depends on the offer though.

Nah, the Kings are short on grit and sandpaper. They need a guy that's willing to stick up for teammates after the whistle. He'll be a healthy scratch in a good portion of the games, but he'll get in the rivalry games and games that require extra physicality.

Denis Malgin hasn't proved he's an NHLer yet. Nobody's giving up a third for him.

So Strome and Malgin have similar value to you? Awful deal for Washington, they decline here as there is simply no need to move Strome.
