Description

I was at the game yesterday at the Bell Centre, and the Habs were very impressive against the Leafs.

- Monahan and Dach are great and very impressive.
- Ghule and Harris are already NHL ready.
- Allen was solid.
- Their defense blocked a lot of shots and pettry solid defensively, but they can be better.
- Slafkovsky making somes great defensively plays, but he need more North American hockey
experience.
- And at the end, 100% sure Caufield will score 40, maybe 50 if he is constant.

I love Slafkovsky, but imo he shouldve gotten 10-20 AHL games and then came up to the NHL. It is not a matter of if he is good enough, because he is, but just to get comfortable with NA hockey. its too lat know tho

100% sure? Both of his goals were against a goalie who can't move his left hand. He could but it's only 1 game. The Habs will go through a loosing streak at some point this season (probably earlier than most teams will) and it will be about how they recover after that

The good old over reactions after 1 game.... Never gets old. Truth is the rookies are likely going to slow down in the next 3-4 weeks as their bodies aren't used to a more condensed schedule of 82 games.
