I mean, why not? He seems like a pretty decent prospect.

No questioning his work ethic and determination. Really hope he breaks out offensively.

Was waiting for the actual number as I knew they didnt give him the full 950k ELC

Either way should be a nice 3c for us in a few years

Contract should slide next year too correct? Gives this kid lots of time to develop before trying in the bigs.

Seriously doubt that, Dubas has been a Nhl GM for 5 years (and interim GM of the summer of 2015) and only has 2, (only ONE if you don't count his and Mark Hunter working as co GM's in 2015 Draft), players he Drafted on his team, Marner and Sandin.

Yes he signed early enough to be a slide candidate.

Technically if there was cap space Abruzzese Holmberg, or Robertson would also have been but cant predict a pandemic. So its not right to say only 2 as its mostly cap space keeping some of his other picks out

Knies will probs sign after his NCAA season and if all goes well will be on the team along with Niemela who could our 3rd pair RD by 2023-2024.

And once hes 100% healthy Amirov will also earn his chances

So there will be picks coming up but cap space and patience will be needed. As like with Liligren patience can = high reward

Now it's time to trade away his prospects like he did;

Yes, Dubas signing the vets for depth proposes each year has just kept his prospects brooding in the minor system for development and that might come back and bite Dubas in the ass. As they may never become anything but an Ahl'er.
