The Jets could be in the midst of a rebuild in 2024-25 so they should probably keep the prospect.

We're not trading someone that could possible save our season, especially for that package. Murray is already looking like a non-option, future cap dump

Does Tyler Myers get $6.75 million?

Bordeleau is a center at NHL level

Why are you trading Karlsson with a chunk of retention, losing a very good sharks prospect and a 2nd to just replace it with a nearly 3-4 million dollar overpaid Tyler Myers?

Literally just keep Karlsson and you come out with a far better team.

Lines would probably be;

Eklund - Hertl - Meier
Gushchin - Bedard - Bordeleau
Couture - Bystedt - Kunin
Gadjovich - Robins/ Reedy - Reedy/ Coe/ Ozzy/ Robins

Coe was drafted the year before Kuzmin, they are like a year and a half apart. I like Coe, and Jets are stacked with LD prospects.

Two years from now Coe will be a RFA and Kuzmin will be on his ELC and waivers exempt.

sharks don’t want another tiny D and are not giving up a middle 6 RW power forward for that.
