I love Pavelski but theres no way the Rangers do that deal. Chicago would be very lucky to get KK in a Kane deal.

If you make it an even 50% retain, Canes would do a 2nd and decent prospect.

I think that’s a fair price. Any team would do that package. NYR would too but not that package above

If he continues to be a PPG player, you don't get him for any less than a 1st, even as a rental. A (presumably) late 2nd and non-top prospect doesn't get the job done for Dallas.

Not saying NYR accepts this deal either, but a 2nd and a decent prospect is too low for Dallas to sell Pavelski on.

Too much?
Ide like to think that a 50% Pavelski at the deadline would cause a bidding war between a few teams.
