Description
Ruff needs to go, the fans have spoken the chants begun. Man is changing lines on the fly when its your first game with a healthy team and leaving post game presser early. BW isnt the future that we all thought and Daws, as much as i like him if we can grab another pick in a deep draft, he is a few years away right now. Spend the money on goaltending next offseason and get a solid starter

No one wants Blackwood. Teams would probably be more likely to give whoever is playing in the AHL a shot over him.

Daws is 21. That's way too early to trade away a kid that was forced into the NHL last season due to injuries. Let him develop for another couple of years and see what you've got with him. You trade him away for a 4th and let another team develop him into a legit starter and you're going to be kicking yourself for the next decade.

I totally agree! Hence me saying i like the guy. However 1 the staff has proven they cant develop a goalie so he will have a better chance elsewhere. 2 at this point the only way they get a decent return on any goalies is by selling teams on the idea of potential. Coaching staff would likely ruin him. Plus why i stated they are better off just spending the money on a proven starter. Schmid has as much potential so keep one or the other.

Blackwood needs a fresh start. Someone will take the chance on him because he has the ability, just doesn't have his head right.

Keep Daws though.
