Description

New line combinations. I feel like that 4th line could be fun. I loved the Granlund and Trenton pair on the PK last season, so I’d give them another chance here. Cody Glass getting a chance to play with Forsberg and Duchene could be just what he needs. I might also like to try Glass with Jeannot and Trenin - big and physical line (FUN)

Additional Details:

This is assuming they move one of their centers (probably Horvat). I’d move Aman up to the third line and have Sissons as a 3C. Sissons is a solid PK and face off guy and he’d be going home. Perfect for the Canucks’ 4th line

Rasmussen, Michael

Additional Details:

Rasmussen hasn’t exactly panned out the way they thought he would. I’d give him a chance and let him play on 4th line with Parssinen and Tomasino. That line could be a combination of physicality and scoring. it’d be fun. Rasmussen could improve as well and develop in a new environment. I know the return may not be what the Red Wings want, so send me suggestions on how to improve it.

I’m fine with these changes, but I don’t see DET trading Rasmussen.

Detroit's not trading Rasmussen, He had a 27 point season last year. he had a 3 point game against Montreal 1 goal 2 assists in 2 games. He's just doing fine as a 3C between Soderblom and Sundqvist.

If Horvat is traded and Aman moves up to the third line, that just means that Lazar or Joshua can fill the 4C role. Canucks don't really need any more depth players

While Rasmussen has bot set the world on fire, yet, he has shown signs of becoming a very good 3rd line center with potential to be a 2nd line center when needed.

Yzerman has spoke very well about Rasmussen and that says alot by me., so no thanks.

Do you have no idea how Ras has played for Detroit? We are VERY happy with how he's playing. We're not moving him.
