Description
It seems like Hall is the odd man out on the Krejci/Pasta line now with the Czeching line. Hall has not played well with Coyle in the past and Nosek is not enough of a playmaker. When Marchand returns Hall won't have a playmaking center. This is a chance to get Studnicka the NHL time he needs and wingers that will help support him properly. Also imagine a 4th line that can grind but still have some skill with Frederic/Coyle/Greer.

If all goes well with Lysell in Providence it could also be Hall/Studnicka/Lysell by the end of the year. That would be a killer line for the future in Boston

Trading out Smith/Reilly as they seem to be odd men out

Detroit passes, Yzerman already said that he's not moving any 2023 picks. If anything he wants to get far more of them in a deep draft.

Salo is probably better than Reilly. Isles don’t want an overpaid depth defenseman who wouldn’t even be in the lineup in NY.

All this does is make the team worse. Smith is a good 3RW. Lauko is not.

Now that teams have been able to put players on LTIR to be complaint, its a totally different situation. That’s the only reason the bruins put him on waivers, and the only reason no one took him.

PS - punctuation is your friend.

No it’s not really different whatsoever. Because teams with cap space didn’t even think they could flip him. He’s just worth way to much for a third pairing d man
PS- I can tell you’re new but nobody really cares about that on here

Ya, sorry. I just don’t think you understand how the league really works. There were maybe a half dozen teams that even had that kind of cap space at that period. Now a whole bunch do thanks to LTIR.

People care about it when it makes the post difficult to read.

Well that’s just wrong considering more than half the players on LTIR will return at one point in the season. He’s looked at as a bottom pairing d man. I don’t think nobody wants to be paying 3 million for bottom pairing. If you can’t read that message you might want to consider taking a middle school English class again.

You just said, “i don’t think nobody wants…” and you’re going to criticize someone’s english? Yikes bud. Commas are your friend. Let me know if you want me to tell you how LTIR works at the beginning of a season.

Ability to read is completely different bud and obviously you can’t do it. I literally was saying prior nobody cares about punctuation. I know how LTIR works I can tell you how it does. You realize players that get put on LTIR and come back during the season go towards cap hit right? He’s literally looked at as a 3 million dollar bottom pairing d man nobody wants him.

It’s a small part of how it works, and a major over simplification, so i don’t think you know how it works.
