Nice raise for the very competitive backup goalie (good for 20 plus games). And it’s not like they are short on goalies with one of the best goaile prospects in Dustin Wolf.

I would typically agree with that statement 99% of the time but if you focus on how the Flames' core is supposed to age out in say, 5 years, having a really good goaltender makes doing the tanking half of this procedure a nightmare.
I wouldn't move him for a rental, but if Kylington, Wolf, a high pick, and a Lucic dump gets you Timo Meier, that's a deal the Flames have to look at for a metric minute.
