Description

Engvall is a solid 3rd liner, niemela is a top pairing potential rhd and voit is a smallish highly skilled prospect. 1,2,3 picks to sweeten the pot. PLD moves into the 2nd line dropping Nicky Bobby to 3rd with kerf and Jarnkrok giving the leafs a solid 3rd line capable of scoring. JT moves to LW or PLD can play LW. Would likely be difficult to get everyone PP time but that’s a good problem to have. Demelo solidifies our depth in D.

But why pay that? They won't be able to resign PDL and if they do, they lose one or both of Marner and Nylander

I *like* the idea, and the value for 2 years of PLD + Demelo is probably reasonable here (I can't see Winnipeg being happy getting a 2025 1st instead of '23 though, since you've gotta think Chevy could be long gone by then...), but you're 100% screwed when Muzzin inevitably returns here in a couple of weeks.

If it was someone you guys actually weren't hoping to dump, I'd be 100% convinced that these posts were actually sympathetic towards him. It's a neck injury, not a concussion. He's on the IR, not LTIR. He'll be back in a week or two.
