We're not trading Lysell and if we do we're 1000000000000% signing Pastrnak

A number of optimistic takes in here. Overall, not horrifically biased in VAN's favour, though.

Don’t know what your looking at bud because all of these are terrible for anyone but Vancouver

I truly don't understand the number of JT Miller trades I still see on this site. Why would Vancouver trade away the guy they just signed to a 7-year, $56M contact after 1 season? That doesn't make any sense. JT Miller isn't getting traded out of British Colombia for quite a while.

ottawa is not a great landing spot for garland imo. Theres no space for him in the top 6, so to upgrade from joseph to him at the cost of JBD and a second doesnt really make it worthwhile for ottawa considering theyd both be playing third line anyways. Sens get more expensive which is not ideal given they need to sign debrincat, and lose out on a RD prospect who we will probably need to slot in the lineup this year with injurues, and definitely need to slot in the lineup next year once they move on from hamonic and zaitsev.

I don't think Garland returns a 2nd, quality RD prospect that's on the verge of cracking the NHL roster, and a young NHL top-9 forward. At least not from OTT with their needs.
Pearson isn't worth a 2nd given the cap environment among contending teams- maybe if VAN retained some of the contract.
      I don't foresee a world where Gavrikov accepts a contract below 4mil.
Lastly, it's optimistic to think VAN will secure all of Pasta, Severson, and Gavrikov in one UFA period.

Miller and Boeser are getting a lot of heat from Vancouver fans after last game. Boudreau put the two of them out in OT, and that didn't go well at all.

Even though they did lose, the silver lining is that the multi-point lead blown streak is over at 4 consecutive games. That's some improvement, and it's still very early in the season.

Because fans suffer from recency bias, small sample size importance, streaks being relevant, and are very, very, very, very impatient and irrational.

Ignore years of being great. Hasn’t been great for 3 games…bench him, trade him, hire a hit man. He’s gotta go! LMAO

That trade is absolutely horrific for Ottawa

No space/need for Garland, he would replace Joseph

Not only they would rather have Joseph 2.95 AAV instead of Garland 4.95 AAV, but giving up their best defensive prospect (not in the lineup) and a 2nd in the process is even worse.
