Description

Lineup changes:
Move Blais to RW1, add muscle to the 1st line, maybe helps Kreider and Mika find their games.

Move Kravtsov to 2RW, Panarin and Kravtsov read very well off one another and are a good duo.

REMAKE THE KID LINE! NY needs 3 punch lines, and having the Kid Line back together will make it so that teams must defend against 3 top lines (most teams don't have that real estate)

Jones and Schneider must improve their game. They have been a very bad duo so far, and seem slow and overwhelmed most of the time. Perhaps it is just the jitters of a new season, but let us hope that they can overcome this issue.

I agree, but something needs to change fast IMO. We have been outplayed by b-tech teams these past 2 games...

imo the biggest problem is that there isn't enough structure. It's not enough to have elite players and leave them to figure it out with minimal structure. Teams seem to come in and know how to pick us apart now. We could throw the kid line some more minutes and it will help for a stretch. Just long enough for there to be enough tape to pick apart their tendencies. Antiquated coaching style won't do against the best teams in the league who have both elite players and dialed in, responsive coaching.

It's actually the opposite - they are supremely overrated. Outside of Fox and Mika, this team is pretty mediocre on the ice. Last year was a farce.

They'd never do it but what they should do is trade Panarin and actually put that $11M toward strengthening the forward group. The bottom 6 is really bad.

That 4th line is terrible, and that would be a nice 3rd if that's what they were actually rolling out, but it's not.

We need heavy depth, two Fs & one D. Cap is an issue, same with NMCs. Drury will address eventually. A healthy up to speed Blais would help. Kravtsovs balls finally dropping would help bring his trade value up

haha loose definition. Either way, the Rangers success from last season should not be expected to continue. Like you said, there are plenty of holes up front and Igor had a career year (prob not to be repeated).

The cap is going to be a serious issue. Nils was the first casualty (the right move), but other necessary moves will need to be made.

Lol Igor will certainly repeat throughout his career, he's 1 or 2 and we are set up for a nice long future. Cup is never a guarantee but we'll through our hat in the ring. Cap will be tricky until after next year
