I think its either spot on or a slight overpay by pittsburg. Either way they should do it. Crosby, Malkin, Kane on the same team would be insane.

Kap has very little value to Chicago given his UFA status unless they can move him at the TDL or next offseason for something. So if I'm Pitt, I'm either keeping him or trading him to another team for assets. Poulin is meh and Lindberg is not worth much. So it's really (2) 1sts and a 3rd for Kane which may be enough, but I'm guessing the hawks are going to pursue a team offering a very good/top prospect.

Yeah, I semi-like it for both teams, but if I'm Chicago I'd probably push for the 2023 1st+2025 1st, hoping that the Pens age-out by then. Maybe sub out the two meh prospects with Pickering and then even it out wherever it needs to be.

Only thing I have hear was Button on TSN said the pens are a team to look for in a Kane trade.

As for the price if Chicago gets more than that for Kane I will be really shocked. Multiple 1st's, a close to NHL ready prospect for a rental is pretty good. And if Chicago wants to trade him anywhere they are going to have to retain, so they really can't even use that leverage. No team willing to pay for him can fit him under their cap.

This feels like way too much for Kane considering the packages for other stars that are much younger than he is (Eichel)

Yall are saying its to much, but the value is in the picks Whoever trades for him will give up a lot but look at what you are getting. For a team like PIT wanted to get Malkin and Crosby another Cup they know this is there chance. If I'm Pit knowing Jarry is a UFA and Your core is on the tail end you pull the trigger.
