Idk that Ottawa moves their 1st for this. Would certainly be willing to add to this deal to move Zaitsev too. Maybe Jarventie, Thomson and two 2nds? Thomson could essentially step into Chicago's lineup imo, and Jarventie is a young talented winger with a monster shot.
Damn, Chicago should be all over this if proposed
2 talented prospects and two 2nds for a Murphy-Zaitsev swap.
Don't think Dorion would propose anywhere close to this though, particularly considering his recent comments on Jarventie.
Personally I would much much rather send Zaitsev to Belleville (ala Del Zotto last season) then buy him out in the summer. That would cost me only $1,666,667 spread over 2 years in real dollars

To me the hardest part is that the Hawks are having a hard time finding NHL ice time for their own D prospects. I'm not sure Lassi is the correct prospect heading to CHI. I understand that might work for OTT, but there's got to be a better fit. Greig or even Ostapchuk would be a better fit.
I don't see anything in return for Greig that could help the Sens now.

Think the hawks would have to take this offer. Yes they might be able to get a late first but getting 4 potential prospects for Murphy would be a big win.
Jarventie + Thomson + 2nd + 2nd + Zaitsev >>>>>>> Zaitsev + 1st + 4th or the proposed deal in OP
You take that and run
