Devs deal is not enough to take Orpik contract

Canucks GM would get his head cutt off if he dealt theyre first round pick in 2018, it's a really deep draft. Not that johansson isn't a bad return just maybe a second and a seventh? Also that defense looks a lot weaker then it did.

Cannot believe you traded Carlson for eberle straight up. Edmonton takes that and runs

Gotta say no on the Eberle/Carlson trade. If EDM adds more and retains salary then GMBM talks. Other than that joke of a trade IMO. If Canucks made that trade I'd imagine a lot of fans would not be happy. I also gotta agree with the guy above defense doesn't look as strong as it COULD be. Lastly we would have to add little more for the Devils to even consider taking Orpik.

I can't believe it either. I guess that's why I'm not the GM.

Yea I thought about retaining salary was the best way to even out that trade. I was iffy on it, but wasn't exactly sure on Carlson's value with only one year left and I was too lazy to make conditions on resigning. So I just went straight up since Eberle had another year. If I had to redo, I agree with retaining salary.
