5 years of Girard > 1 year of Horvat. Avs arent going to trade Girard for Horvat let alone add anything on top. Plus it doesnt seem like Girard is a fit for VAN anyway

You aren’t getting a 24yr old top 4 dman locked up for half decade for a rental that COL can’t sign. I mean honestly what’s the prerogative for COL to do this it doesn’t make any sense. The best trade proposals on CF are the ones that are compelling to both teams involved. This is not one Of those. Beside COL saying now why would VAN be targeting somebody who is like Hughes? Doesn’t make a ton of sense for VAN beyond they get the far more valuable asset.
