Ottawa has no space and no need for him. If muzzin is out longterm I would trade for him, our third line needs a change

Engvall would have to go the other way regardless, and that doesn't really fix anything for the OP.

Cap for what exactly though? As for Poulin, is he just a victim of his waiver exempt eligibility? Or was he just not good enough to make the team out of camp?

Is he better than any of Ottawa's top 9 wingers? He's got more offense than Motte, but Motte being great defensively is the whole point.

Sens traded Connor Brown for a 2024 second before the season. They don't want/need Kapanen

And most importantly, they don't want the contract and would rather let play a good number of young players. Several guys waiting their turn in Blainville
