Detroit declines. Erne is useless but I don't want 3 more years of Jarnkrok. I'd rather keep drafting, developing and promoting Yzerman picks. I know we drafted him but Jarnkrok was a Kenny Holland pick. He traded Jarnkrok, Eaves and a 3rd away to rent a washed up David Legwand. That was over 8 years ago. We don't need him now. Erne won't be traded anyway because he's Steve Yzerman's son.

Detroit passes, We traded jarnkrok for a reason because he didn't want to be in Detroit, Depending on Ernes season just give us a 2023 4th or 5th round pick for him and be done.

Colorado declines. They aren't trading their Swiss Army Champ for a Sentinel.

I seem to be the outlier COL fan who would prefer Kerfoot over Compher. Such is life I guess.

I’m there with you. That said: I think Compher is the exact type of player that coaches overvalue and fans undervalue. He’s not a star, but he can be reasonably solid at any forward spot in the lineup as well as both special teams. Plus he’s a right shot.

If you’re Bednar, you probably love having a guy like that in your lineup.

The Ducks can't trade a guy playing in their top 4 for a forward that likely vies for the healthy scratch seat. Kulikov isn't that good, but he's all they have for the 2nd pair at the moment.

Detroit declines. Järnkrok has too much term. Erne is a UFA, gone after this year and his likely departure opens up a roster spot for a young player Detroit drafted. One of Berggren, Kaspar, Hanas, Mazur.
