Didn't Holmberg play in a different league? Not to detract from one guy or the other here, because I think both of them are kind of "beyond the stats" guys if that makes sense, but isn't this a little bit apples to oranges?

You are right, but I think this difference in leagues actually benefits the argument for Hirvonen. Holmberg played in the SHL while Hirvonen plays in Liiga. According to The Hockey Writers, Liiga is the second strongest European league, only behind the KHL. The SHL is also incredibly strong, but Hirvonen producing at that rate at that age in Liiga is extremely impressive

Lisowsky with his 25th goal in the year and 45th point. That puts him tied for 15th in the WHL goal scoring.

Points keep coming for Grebyonkin. Nice play off the face off win to find his teammate in the slot. (Wait, what number is Dubakin wearing lol)

The ones who cover the Leafs prospects certainly talk about him and the season he is having.

I’m kinda glad the ‘over the top Leaf fans’ are not hyping him up. That happens a little too often and makes the sane ones who like to follow all the prospects have an up hill battle convincing other fans who don’t know ‘he’s actually really good’ argument.

Lisowsky showing some great patience to setup the goal. I really like Sidorov. That’s his 28th goal on the year. Surprised he was passed over last year.

So glad he got loaned to Amur, it was really disappointing seeing Grebyonkin as the 13F in Magnitogorsk early in the season after a strong preseason. If only Ovchinnikov had the same fate

I swear if he didnt have another year signed with the KHL he would be with either the Marlies or Leafs 4th line to start 2023-2024.

He has the talent, size, and tenacity to do some dmg. And I feel like what Robertson did a few years ago he would outwork a bunch of guys in camp and earn a spot

Mentioned him earlier on in this thread (I think it was this thread anyway), he and Perron ranked at 43 and 50 respectively on Bob's list has me salivating at a potential trade down. Probably won't have the pick to do it unfortunately...

If the Leafs keep their beyond the TDL and decide to trade back on draft day, there could be some huge value there. Imagine a draft of:

- Gavin Brindley
- Jayden Perron
- Casey Terrance
