Description

This would be one of the best top 6 groups in the entire NHL. The top two lines each have two elite pieces(Hughes and Connor & Hischier and Bratt) in addition to great supporting pieces(Mercer and Palat).

WPG fans: I can't see how the Jets turn this down IF they went into a rebuild

Just think Eichel went for Krebs(top prospect), Tuch(top 6 forward), 2022 1st, and a conditional 2nd. IMO, Connor is better than Eichel and his cap situation is much more attractive

That's more than Jack Eichel received, I'm sorry i like Kyle Connor as much as the next person. but not for the equivalent of 4 1st round picks.

If the team had a bad year this year. Been talks about Scheifele and Wheeler in the past. If they dealt them, it could signal other moves

Vegas is all in right now the Devils are not. See how this year plays out first before throwing away top assets.

Devils would make sure that Connor never wears another jersey. He'd be playing with Hughes/Hischier/Bratt for the next decade plus

You want a player that every team would be after that isn't exactly available, even if they were rebuilding, you would have to over pay.

If the Jets did go full rebuild and decided to move Connor, you would have to think that gets them talking seriously.
