Caufield : 32G in 85 GP
Kakko : 28G in 165 GP

Oh and those 85 games Caufield played, there's 30ish of them he only scored one goal because of ****ing Dom Ducharme

I would rather have Cole Caufield with one leg than Kaapo Kakko....

Ya, it's to prove a point to a NYR fan lol. I am assuming there will be a landslide favor for Caufield

How is this even a question? Caufield has more goals and almost the same number of points in half the time. Even when you compare Caufield to Lafreniere, Caufield is still the better player (right now). This could change over the course of their careers but right now Caufield is better by a wide margin.

One thing that concerns me about the Lafreniere and Kakko conversation is that the two guys responsible for drafting them now are high up in our hockey ops and running our scouting.

Lafreniere will be something, eventually. Kakko seems to be more of a 'Puljujärvi' kind of a player. But Caufield didn't look that great until Martin St Louis took over as a coach. Proving how important coaching is especially when it comes to develop players.

But Caufield vs Kakko, I would take Caufield in hindsight, but I'm sure if NYR took Caufield they would ruin him.

But what I would pick before Kakko and Caufield it is Matthew Boldy. I just like the way he plays the game.

An outgrowth of a prior thread. I'm still with you -- Caufield by a mile. And not because he's a fellow former Badger.
