The Devils are nowhere near a cup run, Giving up those pieces for Vlad Tarasenko is pure asinine.

If the blues are out of the playoffs they easily accept this trade but there is no way the Devils are trading Holtz for a rental

Why doesn't NJ Trade Holtz? He and Zetterlund are splitting time i personally think Zetterlund may look better. If he brings in a Elite Wing I say do it. Also it wouldn't be for a rental Its assuming Vlad agrees to sign long term. Also never said a cup run but tbh if the goaltending gets hot and they are in the playoffs (possible) Vlad can push them into the category and will only improve.
