Description

Something I could see happening at some point this year. VAN clearly needs defense and we need a finisher. I do want to see more from Boeser this year though before making a deal like this. The whole point in acquiring him is for him to score goals which he has failed to do thus far

Why are we making the change when the D is what is running so well and an offense with over 40sog per game on avg?

In which case the trade never happens anyway and Van still gets something else for Boeser? They definitely aren't trading for rentals.

Yes they will. Horvat extension seems unlikely so he is probably one of the first to go. That leaves over 14 million dollars to sign Bear, Dermott, Hoglander, and potentially Kuzmneko

Sick top 6, however I feel Nemec and Severson aren't a long term staple to the third pair. They both deserve much more playing time
