Nashville should really stop f*cking around and just rebuild. Now would be the time - unbelievable draft class, some solid pieces to sell for additional picks prospects (*cough* Saros to the Devils *cough*), and it should line up in way that sees some of their bad contracts expire by the time they've got to pay the next wave. Stop sitting on the fence of mediocrity.

I would start by trading Jaros , jeannot , and fabbro. There’s no way to completely tear it down because they have a lot of forwards with no trade value

Nino's a guy that they could probably get a nice little package for, especially if they retain. But yeah, Saros and Jeannot are two guys that I'm sure they don't want to trade but definitely should.

They don’t have a 1C and there’s an argument they don’t even have a top 6 caliber center lol. They aren’t good enough to be a playoff team. If you don’t have a 1C you need to re-tool or rebuild.

Full rebuild, imo. Pretty tough to find the pieces they need outside of the draft.

If there is a silver lining, it's that Benn and Seguin have rebounded under DeBoer. I hope they swap Benn and Marchment for the next game. Would like to see Benn and Seguin together and also what Marchment looks like with Johnston and Dellandrea.

Yeah, offensively I'm not worried, we're more than capable in that regard, but that defense is a question. We need Oettinger to be a Top5 goalie in the world to make it work, and when he's not on it like against SJ we'll lose against anyone.

I want them to replace Suter and Hakanpää with an actual Top4 RHD to play with Miro. Lindell-Lundkvist is a good second pair, and Harley-Miller is serviceable third pair.

They got Dman like Ekholm, McDonagh, and Fabbro we could use

They got wings like Trenin, Niederreiter, Jeannot

And Centers like Sissons and Granlund

Leafs were connected to Granlund but Nashville just had to squeak into the playoffs that year

If im looking for 2 guys from there Sissons and Ekholm would be interesting (Ekholm's defense has dropped the reason was very interesting)

I think both AHL goalies may be better than the NHL goalie they are replacing.

Looks like no World Cup in 2024. It's a little disappointing but I'm perfectly happy watching regular season games in February w/o a 2-3 week break. I would definitely scrap any plans for the '26 OG in Milan, too. Too little benefit for too few players and too much risk for too many teams. I know the medal round games are super exciting, but it's a pass for me.
