Boudreau knows he is on the way out. Probably just a big F you to our management team. Kuzmenko has been one of our best forwards this season. Bruce there he goes
Boudreau scratching Kuzmenko tonight is because he is too afraid of choking another lead, so by scratching one of our best forwards, we may never get a lead this game

Out of our 12 forwards, he should be the 10th to get scratched. Only behind Pettersson and Horvat. Starting to think Boudreau wants to get fired so he can get his severance pay and can ditch this poverty franchise

I feel after 2021 Benning should have been let go that way the OEL trade never happens and Rutherford takes over would have a semi-clean slate to work with
Rutherford comes in and basically cant do much with that Van blue line as nobody gonna take OEL and he dont want to go anywhere except Boston. Like u can see it in his interviews he was left with a tire fire he cant put out yet. He has to wait a bit to fix that blue line
As yes at the TDL guys will probs get moved but hes still gonna be stuck with Myers and OEL who are just anchors rn

Horvat deserves better. Only person who had to endure the ENTIRE 8 years of Jim Benning. He was there at the beginning. and he was there at the end. He is in his prime now, it is a win win scenario to part ways with him. He goes to a team for a chance at the cup, and the Canucks get assets that can help them in a rebuild

What kind of a return does Horvat get at the deadline?

Good points Doyle - but IF those are the reasons (esp. the D)...
Then Miller has to be dealt for scraps even (last TDL) and not re-signed by Allvin/JR for mega $$$$ & mega term on Sept of 2022 - boggles the mind.
