I think that the value might be almost fair, but adding in sanheim is too much. I think a good prospect would be better. As far as TK, he is on a much better contract and is playing really well right now, he was only benched cause its torts coaching tbh.

Yeah Sanheim is too much, I agree with that. & I'm not disagreeing with the Torts factor of things, but to say Marner's value is lower because he got benched when literally Konecny was benched is stupid. If you're going to bring benching into it - which I disagree with which is why I mentioned it- then it's stupid not to acknowledge the other side. Just say the trade is too much and provide a better reasoning than "he was benched" when a player coming back was also benched.

It's fine if you really want to tank, but my problem with it is

so basically no way it turns into a 1st.. lol

I read the trade from a sharks perspective as a 2nd for Reimer and then the rest for Karlsson at $7 mil per year. I don’t see San Jose eating $20 mil for that kind of return with how he is playing. Robertson is nice but the rest is just depth fluff
