In the very off chance that Timo doesn't want to resign with TOR, Leafs can still issue him a 1 year 10mil qualifier. If for whatever reason he doesn't want to stay, that 10mil comes off the books in time for Matthews' new contract.

Would be real interested to see what a sniper like Gushchin can do with a playmaker passer like Marner and big body possession bully like Hertl.

Way overvaluing Meier, Marner is a 1.06 ppg player Meier 0.66 ppg that’s a massively different strata. Neito whom I love probably isn’t worth a 4th either.
