Hawks want nothing to do with Reilly, he will either be sitting on the bench, moved to the AHL or blocking the ice time of prospects. For that reason, I don't see them accepting an offer of only a 5th to take him on.

No. Just no to that contract. If coyle is the 2C the team isn’t good anyway. This is a recipe for being a middling team for 5 years.
