I think I would do it, but circumstantially I don't think Olofsson gets moved (just resigned and is contributing) and hopefully imo it's Mitts on the chopping block first. That doesn't move Dahlin away from RD though

But what about OUR logjam at forward? Gabe Vilardi is playing so well that he's bumped last season's top goal scorer, Adrian Kempe, down to the third line; meanwhile, Arthur Kaliyev is playing on the second power-play unit, so we wouldn't need Olofsson there, either. so even with Alex Iafallo and Alex Turcotte on the IR list, we really don't have a place for Olofsson, as good as he is.

The one weakness we'd like at address via trade is at LD, and the only two guys on your roster in whom we'd be interested won't be available at any price.

Actually fiala was bumped down and it’s working.

Other than that correct.

I thought that it was Fiala that made the pass to Vilardi.

Correct. Could have been on a line change.

Fiala started on the 3rd line. I honestly think fiala stayed out longer on most of his shifts. That’s what it looked like to me.

Looking at TOI after the game last night cause I was curious. It looked like everyone but defense had roughly the same TOI which I found pretty cool. Except the 4th line. They hung around I think 11-12

Oh, yeah, now I remember -- we had a delayed penalty and Fiala was the extra man while it was pending. Fiala played with Kupari and Grundstrom most of the last two periods.

I think I would pass, I want more of a physical, defensive right d if I'm gonna move olofsson. I like pairing puck movers with defensive guys, and we are short on the defensive guys. Plus I like olofsson and expect a big year out of him.

Yeah that sounds about right.

But man last nights game this team was buzzing. Kupari looking fantastic. Hoping Kupari and fiala/Vilardi gain chemistry with Byfield if Kupari stays up.

Why would we even trade Olofsson in a trade like this? I'm not sure Walker will be worth much, also I'd rather get Durzi than Walker. Plus I'm not sure LA needs Olofsson. We have picks and prospects. Johnson, maybe Portillo.

Dahlin very good on RD, he wants to play there himself and looks great paired with Samuelsson or Bryson when Mattias is injured.
