Bruins lose both trades. Forward group is better but defense is way worse.

Steve Y doesn't even bother saying no and just hangs up.
Then blocks your number.

I would say that is the most likely outcome.

You made the team so much worse….and gave away multiple first round picks. Try again, this is brutal.

Do you even realize how much better Jake debrusk is than athanasiou?

At his best, AA is much better than Debrusk

Then why does debrusk double his production?

This is one of the worst evaluations I’ve ever seen. Might we have a troll on the loose here?

Well this saved me from evaluating this pile of 💩. Obviously a troll post.

2 1sts Debrusk and Carlo for Bertuzzi and pile of 💩. Lol 🙄

Umm maybe because he played 49 more games last season? Are you trying to be disingenuous? AA 388 games 201 pts .52 ppg vs. JD 330 games 184 pts .56 ppg That's hardly even a difference.

DeBrusk is actually good defensively and is not a liability unlike Athanasiou therefore more valuable.

Detroit 100% passes, 4 years of Chiarot+Bertuzzi @ $2,000,000 retained and Kubalik @ $1,000,000 retained for 2 years would cost a hell of a lot more than Frederic+Carlo+ A late 2024 1st round pick. Pick needs to be 2023 or Yzerman hangs up and blocks Sweeney's number. Oops i'm sorry he does that anyways.

Debrusk basically only played the last half of the season last year too. He was laboring away getting like four seconds of ice time on the fourth line until 2022.

Then of course, there’s this year.

Then of course there’s the whole defensive side of things.

It’s not possible to watch Jake debrusk and AA play and come away with any conclusion other than debrusk is significantly better.

Carlo and a 1st is a pretty darn good haul for a year of bertuzzi, and a mistake of a signing in chariot.

Not what i was responding to and you know it or you have reading problems. My problem is with the posters hyperbole not his assessment. Don't lie to make a point. He did not "double" AA's production or even come close to that statement. Period. End of argument.

Even if that were true.

Brandon Carlo+Boston's 2024 1st round pick = Tyler Bertuzzi @ $2,000,000 retained.

4 years of Ben Chiarot+2 years of Dominic Kubalik @ $1,500,000 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Trent Frederic.

Yzerman would laugh and block Don Sweeneys number. Not even close. You need 2 more 1st round picks for both Chiarot and Kubalik.

Ya, that’s not how rentals work. Bertuzzi wouldn’t be worth close to that.

Well then you obviously don't know how rental work, A rental like Bertuzzi would get us a very good prospect/Roster player a 2023 1st and 2nd round pick and that's not even including being 50% retained which would cost another 2nd round pick at the very least.

Find one example of a similar trade for a rental in the last decade.
